Kathleen T. Dunn, 74, of Middleburgh, New York, passed away peacefully at home on August 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 8, 1951, in Springfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Larkin) Regan.

Kathleen lived a life marked by devotion, warmth, and quiet strength. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Dunn, whom she married on June 23, 1973. Their marriage was a lasting partnership built on love, loyalty, and shared years together until Thomas’s passing in 2019. Kathleen carried his memory with her always and treasured the family they built together.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Dunn (Jennifer), Jamie Dunn (Dominick Catalano), and Kelly Guzzi (Christopher). Kathleen was a proud and loving grandmother to Dominick, Penelope, Gavin, Fiona, Lola, Malachi, and Savanna, each of whom brought great joy to her life. She also leaves behind her brothers, John Regan (Lillian), and James Regan (Mary).

Kathleen worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, including as a secretary and a home health aide. In every role she held, she was known for her reliability, kindness, and strong work ethic. She approached life with determination and a caring spirit, and she touched many people through both her work and her everyday acts of compassion.

Outside of work, Kathleen found happiness in the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. She loved to color, shop, garden, travel, and spend time at the beach. She enjoyed the music of the Rolling Stones and had a special appreciation for bird watching. Camping on Lake George was among her favorite pastimes, and she cherished the memories made there with those she loved. Kathleen was also known for her feisty personality and her lively sense of humor, which endeared her to family and friends alike.

Above all, Kathleen took great pride in her role as grandmother. She loved being known as Grandma BooHoo to her grandchildren, a name that reflected the special bond she shared with them. Her family will remember her for her loving heart, her spirited nature, and the comfort she gave so freely to those around her.

Kathleen’s life was one of devotion to family, resilience through life’s changes, and appreciation for the joys found in everyday moments. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held privately for her family.
