Marilyn L. Tamoschat, 83, passed away peacefully with her daughter and son in law at her side at Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park, on September 8, 2026. Born on November 11, 1942, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family.

Marilyn was the beloved daughter of the late Anselmo and Mary (Scarpetti) Luzietti. She grew up in Bridgeport and was a proud graduate of Bridgeport Central High School. She went on to earn a business degree from the University of Bridgeport. Throughout her life, Marilyn carried herself with grace, intelligence, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Marilyn worked for General Electric, where she met her loving husband, Ronald S. Tamoschat. The two were married on September 11, 1971, and shared a devoted marriage until Ronald’s passing on March 6, 2026. Marilyn treasured the years they shared together. She was also a homemaker, a role she embraced with pride and care, creating a loving and welcoming home for her family.

After her daughter Rebecca was grown, Marilyn returned to the workforce and joined the Niskayuna School District, where she served in various capacities over more than a decade. She worked as a lunch aide, bus monitor, and in the media center, and she retired after many years of dedicated service. Her kindness, reliability, and steady presence made her a valued part of the school community. Marilyn took pride in her work and in the relationships she formed along the way.

Marilyn enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. These interests reflected the care and beauty she brought into every part of her life. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the simple but meaningful ways she made life brighter for those around her. Her daughter and grandchildren were the center of her world, and her love for them was unwavering.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Paderon, and her husband, Jeoffrey. She was a loving Nana to Marcus and Abigail Paderon, and nothing brought her greater joy than her role as grandmother. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Therriault, her brother, Vincent Luzietti, and his wife, Madeline, as well as several nieces and nephews. Marilyn cherished her family deeply and found her greatest happiness in being present for the people she loved.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road, Glenville. A funeral service will follow at 4pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately for Marilyn’s family at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
