      <image:title>Obituaries - Willard Arthur “Will” Kuebler - January 31, 1955 - December 31, 2025</image:title>
<image:caption>Willard Arthur "Will" Kuebler, of Rogersville, MO, passed away aged 70 on December 31, 2025, after a hard-fought and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family, including his sister Cathy Jenkins and his son, Colin Kuebler. Born on January 31, 1955, to Elvera M. (née Miller) and Willard F. Kuebler, Will grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY, where he made many lifelong friends. His lifelong work ethic as well as his passion for audio and video developed early: during his adolescence, he ran a business installing car stereo systems and spent summers working at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, IL. He also found profound meaning in his volunteer work with the Yorktown Heights Fire Department. After earning a bachelor's degree from Pace University, Will began a long and exciting career in cable television. Through the industry, he met many high-profile figures as well as his first wife, Wendy. Together, they established a serene country homestead on Taborton Mountain in Sand Lake, NY. On Taborton, Will found many outlets for his deep love of the outdoors—farming, hiking, camping, boating, snowmobiling—which persisted throughout his life. He took great pride in improving the homestead, working the land, and raising his son, Colin, and his stepson, Dylan. Later, Will's career took him to the Midwest, where he met his late wife, Anna (née Opanowicz). They lived in Racine, WI, before relocating to Rogersville, MO. There, Will's DIY spirit was exemplified as he built a new homestead, including an expansive house, workshop, and garage. For nearly 20 years, he relished the countless hours he spent there, tinkering with his cars and other projects. After retiring from the cable industry, Will found himself longing for a way to stay busy while making a positive difference in others' lives. This led him to take on the role of Director of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Springfield, MO, where his dedication to helping others and his love of home improvement coalesced. Everywhere Will went, his outgoing personality and infectious sense of humor turned strangers from all walks of life into dear friends. His strong principles shone through even in the most challenging times, and his meticulous work ethic can be seen in all the creations he left behind. Will joins in eternal rest his wife, Anna Halina Opanowicz Kuebler; parents, Willard F. and Elvera M. Kuebler; sister Linda Ann Johnson; and cousin Bill Kuebler. Will is survived by his son, Colin Kuebler; stepson, Dylan O'Brien; sister Cathy Jenkins (Richard); brother-in-law William Johnson; cousin Ken Kuebler (Janet); nieces and nephews, Linda, Karen (Bill), Cindy, and David (Kim); grand-nieces and -nephews, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Chevy, Willie, and Quincy; and many more extended family members and close friends. A graveside service will be held on May 7, 2026, at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY, followed by a celebration of life gathering at the Yorktown Heights Fire Department, where Will once volunteered. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Will's memory.</image:caption>
