Opened in May 2026, Michael and his team of dedicated funeral professionals are honored to serve the communities of Amsterdam, Hagaman, Fonda, Glenville, Scotia, Johnstown and the entire Montgomery, Schenectady and Albany Counties and surrounding Capital District.

Co-owned with his wife Colleen Mason, Michael and the entire Mason Family are honored to have the opportunity to guide families from all backgrounds and faiths during some of life’s hardest moments.

Residing at the location of the former Guzielek-Pomykaj Funeral Home and Amsterdam Funeral Chapel, Mason Memorial Home is nestled on a quiet street in the City of Amsterdam. With a large, private parking lot and wheel-chair accessibility, Mason Memorial Home is fit to accommodate all families and types of services.

If the facility does not suit your needs, Mason Memorial Home offers location flexibility and is prepared to facilitate arrangements to hold your services in a church, hall, alternative venue or even another funeral home.
